Proud to Support the Creation of the ‘Riverside Beach’ at Riverside Primary School
At T.J. Cottis Transport, we take pride in more than just moving materials — we’re committed to supporting the communities we serve. That’s why we were thrilled to be part of a truly special project at Riverside Primary School in Hullbridge: the creation of a brand-new sandpit play area, affectionately named the ‘Riverside Beach’.
Opened officially by local MP Mark Francois, this exciting addition is a standout feature in the school’s commitment to enriching outdoor play through the OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) initiative.
Our role? Supplying and delivering top-quality play sand — safely, efficiently, and right on time. Working closely with River Construction, who designed and built the space, our expert drivers ensured everything was delivered seamlessly under a tight schedule. And like River Construction, we were proud to provide our services free of charge as part of our continued support for local schools and families.

Supporting a Local Icon: Cliffs Pavilion Refurbishment
T.J. Cottis Transport is proud to be part of the exciting transformation of one of Essex’s most loved landmarks — the Cliffs Pavilion in Southend-on-Sea.
As the largest purpose-built performing arts venue in the county undergoes a major refurbishment, our grab hire serviceshave been on hand to help clear the way for what’s to come. From removing waste materials to keeping the site moving smoothly, we’ve been working alongside the Auburn Group to support this community-first project every step of the way.

The venue is getting a fresh new look, including a major restaurant expansion, a revamped entrance and lobby, upgraded ventilation, and a brand-new outdoor piazza — all while remaining open to the public!
We’re proud to be contributing to a project that not only upgrades a cultural hub but brings long-term benefits to the local community. And with our reliable, expert haulage support, the work behind the scenes stays efficient, tidy, and right on schedule.

BRIEF
At the Hilton Homes Thundersley site, accumulated construction debris and residual materials threatened to delay the project. The challenge was to clear the area quickly and safely using specialised equipment to ensure the site was ready for further development.
WHAT WE DID
TJC Transport deployed advanced grabs and tippers to efficiently remove the waste, resulting in a fully cleared site ahead of schedule. This swift execution allowed Hilton Homes to proceed with their construction plans, demonstrating our commitment to reliable and prompt service.
